Natural gas hydrates are easily generated in wellheads and gas pipelines. To prevent the formation of hydrates, it is necessary to inject alcohol or heat at the wellhead. There are many methods for injecting alcohol and heating at the wellhead, such as drip injection, electric metering pump injection, pneumatic injection pump injection, and wellhead heating furnace. All of these require setting up an alcohol injection device or a heating furnace at the wellhead, which is costly.
At present, the multi well high-pressure centralized alcohol injection process is widely used to prevent the formation of natural gas hydrates in gas production pipelines. Its function is to install high-pressure alcohol injection pumps at gas gathering stations and inject methanol into the wellhead and high-pressure gas production pipelines through the alcohol injection pipeline laid in the same trench as the gas production pipeline. There is no alcohol injection equipment at the wellhead that needs maintenance and management, achieving unmanned operation of the wellhead.
The integrated device for alcohol and agent injection mainly consists of a corrosion inhibitor storage tank, a defoamer storage tank, a dosing pump, an on-site alcohol injection single head pump, a wellhead alcohol injection double head pump, a corrosion inhibitor injection pump, a filter, valves, etc. Mainly includes functions such as injecting alcohol at the well site, injecting alcohol inside the station, injecting defoamers, corrosion inhibitors, etc.
